Yeah im a pikey student with no cash either so I want to get it on finance...if they let me [img]biggrin.gif[/img]

Cant seem to find anywhere thats selling em for a nice price.

To be honest, as a student, not many people are going to notice the difference if you shoot on this camera or on a decent 1 Chip Sony for about ?800. If they are both lit well and you have an interesting story then I don't see see why you need to buy a ?2500 camera just because it has three chips. The money is far better spent on a decent desktop PC or Mac which you can edit on with something like Premiere or Final Cut. Once you progress to making things with bigger budgets, higher production values, you probably won't want to use a MiniDV camera anymore anyway.
